Innovative design with 360° air intake

The unique design of AIRVIA Medical air purifiers is inspired by the world of aeronautics and aircraft turbines. It has been designed to optimize air circulation. Thanks to its cylindrical shape and 360° air intake system, it is both elegant and efficient. It draws air from all directions and discharges it vertically to ensure efficient air mixing. The air in your room is thus quickly and thoroughly cleaned.

Optimized air circulation

The air is sucked in at ground level all around the device thanks to the motor. It then goes through 8 stages of filtration and depollution to be purified. Thanks to our vertical discharge pressurization system, the purified air is then re-injected into the entire room in a homogeneous manner. You are not disturbed by the noise level or the air flow.

Purificateur d'air norme NF

Clean air in minutes

AIRVIA Medical air purifiers have unmatched power. They are able to completely clean the air of a 100m² or 150m² space in just a few minutes. Their superior performance has been certified by the CADR indicator with a score of over 500 m3/h, one of the best on the market. It has 5 different purification speeds to suit all spaces and uses.

2 in 1 purifier and ionizer

To clean your air of all pollutants, including nanoparticles, AIRVIA Medical air purifiers use 8 different purification technologies. The eighth step is an active filtration technology that consists in the diffusion of negative ions in the air. Negative ions are extremely effective in targeting pollution particles, usually of positive polarity, and rendering them harmless to your health. Negative ions are present everywhere in natural environments and have many beneficial effects on health and well-being. With a negative ion density of 20 million pcs/cm3, the AIRVIA Medical purifier can boost your immune system, improve your blood circulation and the quality of your sleep. This function can be activated or deactivated at will.

Air sterilization with UV light

In addition to many other pollution control technologies, our products also use a UVC lamp to eliminate absolutely all microbes. Without releasing any ozone, our products sterilize the air and kill viruses, bacteria, molds and spores. Located in the center of the device and completely harmless, the UVC (low spectrum) lamp also serves as an activator for the photocatalysis function, a redox reaction with a powerful air purification effect.

A HEPA filter offilter

All our devices are equipped with a HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air), which guarantees that they trap more than 99.97% of polluting particles with a diameter greater than or equal to 0.01 microns. These air filters are a reference, used in medical applications, pharmaceuticals and in various advanced industries. We also use one of the most efficient models: HEPA H13.

Air purification in eight steps

AIRVIA Medical products use eight different purification technologies to ensure pollutant-free, germ-free and allergen-free air.

Pre-filterHepa H13 filterBacteria separation filterActivated carbon filterAbsorption filter with molecular sievePurification by photocatalysisUV sterilizationNegative ion purification

Our air purifiers have a triple purification action: a hygienic action, an anti-allergy action and a protection action against irritating, polluting and toxic particles. They eliminate germs (bacteria, viruses, spores, molds), allergens (dust mites, pollens, animal hair), smoke (from tobacco, fire, barbecue) as well as many toxic gases and particles (formaldehyde, VOCs, fine particles, exhaust fumes) and bad odors. You finally breathe clean, healthy air all day long.

The AIRVIA Medical terminal displays your air quality in real time

The AIRVIA Medical air purifier is equipped with a portable control terminal that allows you to check the air quality of any room at a glance. Thanks to the latest generation of sensors, you have access to all relevant data on the quality of your air. It shows the levels of fine particles (PM2.5) and chemical pollution with a color code for easy reading. It also indicates the temperature and humidity of your space.

In automatic mode, the sensors allow the purifier to adapt its speed in real time to the pollution level. The terminal also allows you to control the functions of the purifier as well as its behavior: on/off, automatic mode, night mode, timer, fan speed, activation of negative ions and UV.

A silent night mode

Breathe perfectly healthy air and enjoy silence thanks to the “Night” mode of the AIRVIA Medical air purifier. It saves energy and allows you to sleep in peace: its noise level is less than 30 dB. You can also combine the “Night” mode with the timer function to program the purifier to turn off. All our products are designed to make your life easier and improve your well-being.

Frequently asked questions

What is an air purifier?

An air purifier is an electric device that cleans your indoor air by removing pollutants. It plugs into a normal electrical outlet and circulates the air for treatment. It can be installed anywhere: at home, in the office, in the car, in the company, etc.

There are three types of air pollution: particulate (fine particles), chemical (gases) and biological (germs, molds, etc.). All three are captured by our cameras. A purifier can act in two ways: filtration and depollution.

Filters (such as HEPA, activated carbon and bamboo fiber filters) physically capture pollutants and extract them from the ambient air. Pollution control technologies (such as photocatalysis, ionization or UV sterilization) react with pollutants and degrade them to make them harmless.

A good air purifier can provide air purity of over 99.97%.

What are the health effects of an air purifier?

Respiratory diseases affect more and more French people every year, all ages included. Between the pollution of our cities, smoking, major allergies or asthma, respiratory diseases are constantly gaining ground. According to WHO forecasts, they could become the 3rd leading cause of death in France by 2030.

Whether you are simply concerned about your health, allergic, sensitive or suffering from a respiratory disease, a purifier can effectively protect you from air pollution, which is omnipresent in our modern societies. It allows to completely clean the indoor air of a home or a workplace. It traps or destroys all the harmful particles we breathe without even noticing, viruses and bacteria, VOCs in our paints, formaldehyde in our furniture and textiles, etc. It protects us from the many deleterious effects of pollution: cancers, intoxications, cardiovascular diseases.

It also allows smokers not to make their loved ones suffer from passive smoking. It is also a great ally for people with sensitive bronchial tubes, allergic or asthmatic people and helps reduce the effects of their symptoms.

Is its action scientifically proven?

Although air purification is still an immature and poorly regulated market in Europe, air purification processes are based on scientifically established technology. We use eight different purification technologies, each with its own field of action and effectiveness. Some are more recognized and established than others due to their seniority. This is the case of the HEPA filter which has existed since the 1940s and meets the European standards EN 1822 and EN ISO 29463. As for UV rays, they have been recognized for their antibacterial and antiviral properties for over a century.

You can find all the 8 steps of AIRVIA Medical’s air purification products on the home page of the site.

What are the advantages of AIRVIA Medical?

AIRVIA Medical products are high-end air purifiers that combine all the best current filtration technologies: pre-filter, bamboo fiber, HEPA filter, activated carbon, photocatalysis layer, UVC lamp and ionization. This allows for an extremely high level of filtration that targets all major airborne pollutants.

In addition to this, our design is inspired by aeronautics and allows for unparalleled air mixing efficiency. We draw in air at 360° at floor level and discharge it vertically, creating a natural airflow in the room. This allows for the best of both worlds: thorough filtration while maintaining record power (over 500 m3/hr).

This cylindrical design also allows it to be placed anywhere in the room. And maintenance is easy: the filters last for a year (six months for the CAR model) and take less than a minute to change.

In addition to their efficiency, power and ease of installation, AIRVIA Medical products are recognized for their quality, as evidenced by their NF certification. That’s why we offer a 5-year hardware warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Does a purifier replace an air conditioner, dehumidifier or mechanical ventilation?

No, an air purifier can only purify your indoor air. It has no function to change the temperature, humidity or oxygen level of your space.

AIRVIA Medical advises you to continue to air your home regularly. If you do not have a VMC, you can open your windows to renew your air for 10 minutes per day, morning and evening, as recommended by the Agency for the Development and Control of Energy. The AIRVIA Medical air purifier will take care to clean this new air, which is certainly more polluted but allows to oxygenate your habitat.

There are some two-in-one or even three-in-one devices that promise to heat or cool your room or regulate its humidity level. Most air purification experts consider this to be an aberration because the high-performance filters present in any purifier worthy of the name will inevitably be degraded by the overheated or dried-out air in this type of machine. AIRVIA Medical has therefore decided to focus solely on air purification, its field of expertise, for an effective and proven action.

Please note that our devices are perfectly compatible with existing air conditioning systems, it is simply necessary to avoid placing them just below an air vent (in order to avoid condensation drops falling on them).

What are the fields of action of AIRVIA Medical products?

The AIRVIA Medical purifier was inspired by the best technologies used in the medical and industrial world to develop its product line. We sell to both individuals and professionals. You can find our devices in action in houses, apartments and offices as well as in medical practices, pharmacies, restaurants, hotels, hair salons and public buildings.

Not forgetting the cars thanks to the latest addition to the range: the AIRVIA CAR©.

What is the surface / volume of action?

AIRVIA Medical currently offers four models.

The ORIGIN 40 has four speed levels that allow it to cover all spaces between 0 and 40m2 (a volume of 100 m3).

The AERO 100 has five speed levels that allow it to cover all spaces between 0 and 100m2 (a volume of 280 m3).

Similarly, the PRO 100 has five speed levels that allow it to cover all spaces between 0 and 150m2 (a volume of 420 m3).

Note that even if you have a smaller space, our devices will fit perfectly. In no case will the power be “wasted” because, thanks to their different speed levels, they can adapt to all profiles. Also, the smaller the space, the faster the air will be cleaned. Our devices also have an automatic mode that allows them to adjust the speed in real time to the current pollution rate.

The AIRVIA CAR© has three speed levels and is suitable for cars with a cabin of up to 13m3.

Where should I place my purifier? Can it purify my entire house?

Thanks to their cylindrical design and 360° suction, our air purifiers can be placed anywhere in the room. Ideally, you should choose an open area near an electrical outlet.

As long as the air can circulate, our devices can purify the entire volume of air. To do this, make sure to keep the doors open. If there are multiple floors or winding corridors, the efficiency will be reduced but not zero. It is then advisable to buy several devices.

For individuals, it is common to place the air purifier in the living room, kitchen or bedroom.

Note that it is not recommended to keep the windows open while using the purifier as this is counterproductive. While it may be tempting to let in fresh air that is free of chemical pollution or germs, it will be much more difficult for the unit to purify air that is constantly changing. Air purifiers are most effective when they purify the same air several times. Of course, you should continue to air your space regularly, but there is no need to keep the purifier on.

What is the noise level of a purifier?

AIRVIA Medical purifiers make no more noise than a standard fan. They have between 4 and 5 speed modes that range from perfectly silent to very powerful, allowing them to adapt to all spaces and pollution levels. The device itself does not make any noise, it is the air blast that, depending on its speed, can emit a noise. At speed 1, the device is completely inaudible, while at speed 5 it emits 68 decibels. After the first few days, the device will remain mainly in speed 1 (< 30 dB) or in speed 2 (41 db).

Note that our purifiers are equipped with a “Night” mode that eliminates all indicator lights and lowers the sound volume to less than 30dB.

Does it have to run continuously to be effective?

For professionals it is recommended to keep the purifier in automatic mode during the day and to turn it off when leaving.

For individuals, there is usually no need to use it for more than 2-3 hours per day. A typical use is to turn it on for an hour in the morning and evening after airing out your space (then closing your windows). This is usually more than enough to maintain impeccable air quality. Of course, this is to be adapted according to the situation. It is perfectly normal and advisable to use it longer if, for example, you want to protect yourself from a neighbor’s stubborn cigarette odors, at night if you are allergic or asthmatic, or continuously during an epidemic.

The device is designed to last and you will be able to adapt your use according to your situation, your health and your air quality as given by our control terminal.

Note that the standby mode is the least energy consuming.

How often should the filters be changed?

The multi-layer filter of the ORIGIN 40, the AERO 100 and the PRO 150 is designed to last one year (12 months) on average while the AIRVIA CAR© filter lasts 6 months.

Our filters are able to last so long because they are cylindrical, so they have both a larger contact area and a larger volume.

The actual duration of the filter will depend on the pollution level of your home. It can be less than that in very polluted environments (about 5% of cases).

Where can I order a replacement filter?

You can order your replacement filter directly on our website in the Filters section. Delivery is fast and you are sure to order the right filter for your model.

What is the AIRVIA Medical control terminal?

The AIRVIA Medical control terminal is a measurement and control unit that comes included with the AERO 100 and PRO 150. It is an intelligent device with an easy-to-read and easy-to-handle digital display. Thanks to it, you have access at a glance to the quality of your air (its fine particle pollution and its chemical pollution as well as its humidity level). Thanks to its colored legends, you will know easily if it is necessary or not to sanitize your air.

The control terminal also allows you to program your purifier, to activate or deactivate functions such as the timer, the night mode or the automatic mode. It will allow you to save energy by turning off the unit or putting it in standby mode when the air quality is satisfactory.

Can the ORIGIN 40 be used without a smartphone? What is the Tuya Smart application?

Yes! While we highly recommend using the smartphone app, the ORIGIN 40 comes with a remote control that allows you to control all functions. Of course, you can also use the physical buttons on the air purifier directly.

For its part, the Tuya Smart application allows you not only to control your air purifier, but also to program different behaviors and scenarios (Example: activate the Night mode every day at 8 p.m.).

Note that the AIRVIA CAR© is not delivered with a remote control. It can be controlled via the AIRVIA Connect app or directly via the touch screen.

How much does the AIRVIA Medical purifier consume?

It depends on the model. Please refer to the technical specifications (found at the bottom of the product page). AIRVIA Medical air purifiers combine the best of technology for optimal efficiency and minimal consumption. Used 4 hours a day at maximum power, 365 days a year, your air purifier consumes a little more than 70kWh, which is less than half the consumption of a refrigerator or a vacuum cleaner (consumption calculated in proportion to their time of use).

What are the payment terms?

You can pay your AIRVIA air purifier in one payment, by credit card, bank transfer or check.

You can also pay in monthly installments with the Alma partner service (option available after validation of the order in the shopping cart).

Online payments are made via a fully encrypted and secure payment service.

The references in stock are shipped 1 to 2 working days after receipt of payment.

How long does the warranty last?

We offer one of the best guarantees on the market. It covers all material defects or breakdowns that may occur. This warranty applies as long as your device has been used under good conditions and has been properly maintained. Our AERO 100 and PRO 150 models are guaranteed for 5 years. Our ORIGIN 40 and AIRVIA CAR© are guaranteed for 3 years. You will find the text of our guarantee here and our terms of sale here.

What is the difference between the AERO 100 and the PRO 150?

The AERO 100 and the PRO 150 are two versions of the same device: the one that made AIRVIA Medical known to practices and individuals alike. Both use exactly the same type of AIRVIA Medical filtration, a condensation of the eight best existing technologies.

The main difference is that the AERO 100 can treat a space of up to 100 m2 (280m3) while the PRO 150 can treat a space of up to 150 m2 (420 m3). Since we size our filters to last an average of 12 months, this means that the PRO 150’s filter and the unit itself are larger (taller). The engines are very similar and the power varies little between the two devices.

Another difference is that we have made the pre-filter of the PRO 150 separately interchangeable, to accommodate our hairdresser friends.
